Bogotá’s burning brings ‘La Torre Picasso’ to the top 40 in Spain

Autumn has begun but the song of the summer is still stuck at number 1 on the singles list in Spain: we are of course talking about ‘Si antes te había conocí’ by Karol G, already certified 5 times Platinum. Colombian Kapo is at number 2 and number 3 on the list with ‘UWAIE’ and ‘OHNANA’, respectively, and the top 5 is completed by Floyymenor with ‘Peligrosa’ and Isabel Aaiún with ‘Potra salvaje’.

The first entry of the week, Yandel and Feid’s duet ‘Háblame claro’, is in 30th place on the list. The biggest rise is ‘Luna llena’ by Beny Jr., which reaches 7th place.

‘La Torre Picasso’, the new 8-minute single from Arde Bogotá, is next in line at number 35. Never before has an Arde Bogotá single reached so high on the chart, as ‘La Salvación’ did not go beyond number 51. However, Arde Bogotá already has several Gold and Platinum Records under its belt, between singles and albums.

In the middle of the table we find entries from Cris MJ, Floyymenor and Louki, with ‘despues de la 1’, which appears at number 42, and Lola Indigo, who places ‘Pesadillas’ at number 58 while ‘La reina’ remains at number 6. ‘Duro de verdad’, the collaboration between Los Sufridos and Bad Gyal, debuts at number 58, while it rises to number 2 on Spotify’s daily list.

In 1976, ‘La Morocha’ appears for the first time, the new single from the two new stars of Argentine urban pop, Luck Ra and BM.

Two singles from the United States had moderate success in Spain, as it is well known that Anglo-Saxon pop has a hard time succeeding in our country. Despite being the number one hit on his next album, The Weeknd’s ‘Dancing in the Flames’ barely managed to reach number 77 in Spain, his worst figure. ‘Dancing in the Flames’ has reached number 2 in Australia, number 10 in Sweden and number 12 in the United Kingdom, but the performance is disappointing so far, considering that he is the number 1 most listened to artist in the world.

And many months after its release, Chappell Roan’s ‘Good Luck, Babe!’ reaches the Spanish singles chart: it debuts at number 92. Just in time. However, her album ‘The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess’, which has just turned one year old, has already spent 13 weeks on the chart.
