Bebe Rexha has exploded at G-Eazy, her former 'Me, Myself & I' collaborator, calling him a “sucker” and an “ungrateful loser.” The 2015 hit, which came out as part of the American rapper's second album, reached seventh position on the Hot 100 after debuting at number 89.
The whole mess started when someone from Rexha's team asked her if she had “any interest” in recording some content with G-Eazy in relation to 'Me, Myself & I'. The singer of Albanian origin captured the conversation and read the letter to the rapper through an Instagram story (now deleted): «G-Eazy, you have my number. Why don't you write to me and ask me yourself, you arrogant and ungrateful loser?” Bebe Rexha begins.
“You're lucky that people like you again, because I could detail all the shit you've done to me and how you've treated me after giving you your only real hit,” says the 'I'm Good (Blue)' singer. . Furthermore, she resolves the doubt about possible collaboration: «By the way, the answer is no. I hope you're well”.
Later, Bebe Rexha clarified on X why she deleted the social media story: “My team made me delete the Instagram story. I decided to do it because it felt very negative and toxic. “Sometimes trauma can lead us to react like that, and that period of my life was traumatizing.” All while remaining iconic: “I'm writing this because I regret deleting it and I want to say that I still think what I said.”
'Me, Myself & I' was G-Eazy's first Top 10 hit on the Hot 100 and Bebe Rexha's second, after 'Hey Mama' with David Guetta. It was their most successful single, until Rexha reached number 2 with 'Meant To Be' and G-Eazy reached number 4 with 'No Limit'.
Bebe Rexha calls out G-Eazy in latest Instagram story when asked to shoot media content with him:
