Andy considered calling his album ‘See you later, Lucas’; Lucas threatens to report him

The counterpart of ‘El Hormiguero’ for Rosalía in ‘La Revuelta’ – which was a historical record and audience leader – was to invite Andy to present his first solo single. ‘Marioneta’ is a mix between a disappointment in love and the separation of the duo. “It’s a heartbreak and it has coincided with the situation,” Andy explained.

The lyrics say things like “you don’t love anyone, just your selfishness/Forget about me because I don’t exist for you.” In the video clip, Andy suffers a lot and it rains.

Andy expressed to Pablo Motos his displeasure with Lucas for not recognizing him as an artist, historically: “When I started with my better half in music, I participated in practically everything musical and I gradually lost it until I disappeared (…) There was a time when the other party didn’t like how I put together the songs and because we didn’t have discussions that went to waste.”

Andy said that he does not get the rights to ‘Son de amores’, despite the fact that according to him he made the music: “I didn’t understand how the business worked, but he trusted my way of putting together the songs. He told me to make the music, but when the time came to register the song he didn’t make me co-author.”

In general, he spoke of shady accounts, since from a cache of 30,000 euros he only received “2,000 or 3,000 euros.” And from his last concert, which had a turnover of 250,000 euros, he received less than 10,000. The duo has been on the verge of coming to blows, as reported in ‘El Hormiguero’.

In fact, Andy has considered calling his album ‘See you later, Lucas’, but has rejected it: “They have proposed it to me, but out of respect for him and above all for his family, since I still maintain contact with them and I know that they are not having a good time, it is not a dish of good taste to come and speak badly of my partner.”

After listening to Andy in ‘El Hormiguero’, a source close to Lucas has assured the television program ‘And now Sonsoles’, that Lucas is considering reporting. It could ask him “for damages, up to 150,000 euros”, as Vertele reports.
