A few days ago we reported that the live Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall in New York will be released in October in physical format. Well, now the news expands with the fact that it will also be released as a film.
Last December 2025, months before performing at the Barcelona Primavera Sound with both Geese As a soloist, Cameron Winter performed at the legendary Carnegie Hall theater in New York to offer one of his solo concerts and review the songs of “Heavy Metal”his successful album outside the band.
Well, after announcing that the audio recording – produced by Ariel Rechtshaid – will officially be released in different formats by Partisan/(PIAS), specifically on October 9, it has also been confirmed that the performance was filmed by none other than that great film director who is Paul Thomas Anderson (“Magnolia”, “Wells of Ambition”, “One Battle After Another”).
The film of that concert can be seen, for now, in theaters in a wide list of American cities starting November 20 in 35 millimeter format and, starting in January, it will tour many more cities, although no information has been provided on when it can be seen in Europe and how.
The screenings will begin on November 20 in New York and will pass through Los Angeles, Washington, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Denton, Boston, Santa Ana, Nashville, Milwaukee, Houston, Louisville, Austin, Omaha, Tucson, Ann Arbor and Portland.
