The British band Only The Poets will arrive in Spain next September with two concerts that will take place in Madrid and Barcelona.
Only The Poets continue to establish themselves as one of the most prominent emerging bands in British alt-pop. Last January, the Reading group released their long-awaited debut album, “And I’d Do It Again”a 14-song work written and recorded over seven intense months.
On the album, the vocalist Tommy Longhurst explores emotions such as heartbreak, jealousy, regret and resilience with direct honesty, accompanied by alt-pop production marked by 80s-inspired synths, great choruses and moments of great vulnerability. The album includes songs like “Emotionally Hungover,” “Guess She’s Cool” and “Madeline,” as well as singles like “I Keep On Messing It Up” and fan favorites like “Saké” and “Bad.”
Produced by Clem Cherry and Mark Yates next to DanDlionmixed by Lee Smith and mastered by Chris Gehringer, “And I’d Do It Again” represents a key moment in the band’s trajectory.
With “And I’d Do It Again”, Only The Poets celebrates the path taken from the small rooms to some of the most important moments of their career, always maintaining the link with the community of followers that has accompanied them from the beginning.
We can see them in concert on September 24 at the Moby Dick room in Madrid and September 25 at the Razzmatazz 3 room in Barcelona.
Tickets for all their concerts will go on sale tomorrow May 29 at 10:00 a.m. in LiveNation and Ticketmaster.
