The singer from Girona JULS publishes “Tot va tirant”, a new single that explores distance, absences and the vertigo of growing up far from home.
After capturing attention with songs like “Papallones” and “Havaneres davant del mar”, JULS continues to consolidate its project within the new Catalan pop scene with a song that represents a step forward. This new stage, more energetic and expansive, was already sensed in their previous release, “El gran deliluvi”.
“Tot va tirant” starts from an intimate look to become a generational story about the passage of time and the uncertainty of not knowing if the right decisions are being made. With language loaded with symbolism, the song transforms domestic memories and personal landscapes into images shared by many young people who have had to leave their home to make their own path.
Musically, JULS opts for a pop sound with a clear rock drive, which reinforces the emotional charge of the song with a more direct and raw energy. Production is carried out by Marc Gelabert and Scotty DK.
The launch is accompanied by a video clip made by Tramaliat and co-directed by the artist herself along with Jason Palma, with an aesthetic inspired by the series The Office that visually conveys this vital imbalance.
