The machinery gypsy punk of Gogol Bordello roars loudly again thanks to the publication on YouTube of one of his celebrated performances for the studios of KEXP. The group led by Eugene Hutz appears in a state of grace in a session marked by Balkan frenzy, punk energy and that constant feeling of uncontrolled partying that has turned the band into an international cult phenomenon.
Originally recorded at the station’s Seattle studios, the performance perfectly captures the group’s nomadic and multicultural spirit.
