The Spanish Wave opens call again to perform at the festival Iceland Airwaveswhich will be held in November in Reykjavík.
The Spanish Wave participated for the first time in Iceland Airwaves Festival in 2024 with an excellent reception. This year, The Spanish Wave together with AIE and Fundación SGAE returns to the largest musical event in the country, the most important festival on the island to present a new showcase of the best emerging musical talent in our country or Spanish speaking; preceded by the official reception “Meet The Spaniards!”, with a round table on the music industry and a business mission from Spanish professionals in this very important market.
This event, which is held in the month of November for three days and three nights, is a great business opportunity since delegates from the music industry and press from all over the world attend. Downtown Reykjavík is filled with non-stop music, with performances everywhere from small record shops and art museums, to trendy bars and majestic churches, nightclubs and large-scale venues.

The Spanish Wave is a project for the internationalization of Spanish talent that aims to help export emerging artists and bands from our country, participating with “showcases” in the most important fairs, festivals and musical events in the world, with the presence of professionals from the national and international industry. It works closely with booking agencies, record labels, both national and international promoters, as well as with partners such as AIE, the SGAE Foundation, Instituto Cervantes, Live Nation Spain, Ticketmaster Spain, Mondo Sonoro and Radio 3.
