The Damned extend their visit to Spain with shows in Barcelona and Madrid

The historic formation The Damned will extend its time in Spain in 2026 with two new concerts in Barcelona and Madridwhich add to his already announced performance in the Fest Viewer.

The group will play the September 26 at Razzmatazz 2 and on the 27th in the Wagon Roomafter its previous stop in Valencia on the 25th.

These dates are part of an international tour with which the group commemorates the fifty years of their career, celebrating the outbreak of punk in the United Kingdom, a movement of which they were protagonists from the beginning. Formed in London in 1976, their role was decisive in the consolidation of the genre, with milestones such as the publication of “New Rose”, considered one of the first British punk singles.

Far from limiting itself to a review of the past, the group maintains recent activity. In 2026 they have published “Not Like Everybody Else”a cover album that pays tribute to Brian James, founding member of the band, while their previous work, “Darkadelic” (2023), confirmed its validity by ranking among the most notable albums in the United Kingdom.

On stage, the current formation, with Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies and Paul Graywill combine essential classics with cuts from different stages, in a live show that continues to rely on the intensity and personality that defined its beginnings.
