If Lady Gaga and Doechii’s ‘Runway’ hasn’t yet taken off on the charts, its main stars at least want to make sure you can’t stop watching its music video on YouTube: a whole parade of impossible looks reminiscent of Lady Gaga’s imperial era. In fact, one of Gaga’s looks includes a yellow wig reminiscent of the one in the ‘Telephone’ video clip with Beyoncé.
The premiere of the music video for ‘Runway’ coincides with the arrival in theaters of ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ on April 30. Doechii and Gaga, accompanied by an entourage of dancers, star in their own parade halfway between the most camp drag and haute couture, becoming Versailles queens of the dance floor, dominatrix, stoned mummies and a thousand other things.
‘Runway’, on the other hand, would not be the only collaboration between Lady Gaga and Doechii in this era: Doechii has confirmed that the artists have created more music together, which could be part of the official soundtrack of ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’.
At the same time, Lady Gaga recently offered the last concert of the ‘Mayhem’ tour and has confirmed the release of a deluxe version of the album, ‘Requiem’, which will be released soon and will include unreleased songs.
As for Doechii, his official debut album should be dropping: this is what he teased in his January single with SZA, ‘girl get up’.
