Bunbury, recent guest at La Revuelta, once again obtains a number 1 on the Spanish album chart. If last year ‘Pending Accounts’ managed to unseat Bad Bunny from the list, this time ‘De Un Siglo Previous’ replaces Omar Courtz… and Rosalía, who comes up with ‘Lux’ after her tour of Spain, but fails to sell more copies than Bunbury.
‘From a previous century’ adds Bunbury to his sixth number 1 album in Spain, after ‘Cuentas pending’ (2025), ‘Greta Garbo’ (2023), ‘Expectativas’ (2017), ‘The consequences’ (2010) and ‘Hellville de luxe’ (2008), all within his solo discography.
The top 10 leaves another notable entry: that of Niña Polaca, who placed their new album, ‘Where is the UN when you need it most?’, in 10th place. It is the best debut of his career.
Around the top 10, Revólver places ‘03010’ in 12th place, while ‘Oniria Popular’, one of the best albums by
The next international entry on the list stars Zayn, who places ‘Konnakol’ at number 26. Zayn’s career in Spain has been erratic: his debut ‘Mind of Mine’ entered at number 2; the second album, ‘Icarus Falls’, did not go beyond 35; ‘Nobody Is Listening’ returned him to 9th place, and ‘Room Under the Stairs’ dropped him back to 17th place. ‘Konnakol’ worsens that figure and enters 26th place. In international markets, ‘Konnakol’ has been top 4 in the United Kingdom, top 5 in Germany and top 18 in the United States. His best result is a 2nd place in Flanders (Belgium).
The table leaves three other national entries: BIG PAPA313 places the first volume of his mixtape ‘Dededee’ at 51, assisted by collaborations with Morad or JC Reyes, and Funzo places ‘ADHD’ at 66. Finally, Yerai Cortés debuts with ‘Popular’ at 93.
