The Madrid group Alcala North has announced all the dates of their “Tierra Media” tour that will take them to a long list of festivals throughout the peninsula. In a few days they will publish the second preview of what will also be their second full-length.
Alcalá Norte does not rest. Despite being immersed in the recording of their second album, the band from the Ciudad Lineal district is forced to travel through Middle-earth from east to west, on twenty dates this summer to earn their money. The tour began on April 24 at the FIV festival in Vilalba (Lugo) and continued at the Vibra Mahou Fest in León. This week comes one of the highlights of this Terramedian journey, with its performance on Saturday, May 2 on the esplanade of the Puente del Rey, in the Casa de Campo in Madrid, on the occasion of the Community festivities. Next, the band will embark on its first trip to Colombia to perform at the BIME fair in Bogotá, its second international destination after the successful visit to Mexico City last March.
Once the warm reception of the first preview of their second album, their melodic “El Hombre Planeta”, has been digested, the band warns of the imminence of a second single, and above all, it shares all the dates of its festival tour, just after performing at the Festivals of the Community of Madrid (May 2) and stop by the BIME Bogotá (May 5).
Tour dates “Middle Earth” are the following: Cascante (May 9, Estaciones Sonoras), Gijón (May 15, Vibra Mahou), Ourense (May 22, Ourensound), Jaén (May 23, Oleosónica), Huesca (June 13, Festival El 21), Vitoria-Gasteiz (June 20, Azkena Rock Festival), Vilanova i la Geltrú (July 2, Vida Festival), Torre del Mar (July 10, Weekend Beach), Gandía (July 11, Pirata Beach), Bueu (July 30, Sonrías Baixas), Torrevieja (August 1, Low Festival), Cádiz (August 15, No Sin Música), Mallorca (August 22, TBA), Molina de Segura (September 5, B Side) and Gran Canaria (September 12, LPA BMusic Festival).
