The musical project Getting to know Russialed by the Argentine musician and composer Matthew Sujatovichwill arrive in Barcelona on next July 6 with a concert in Apollo Room.
The event will allow the Barcelona public to enjoy live one of the most prominent names in contemporary Argentine pop rock.
Since his emergence into the Latin American music scene, Getting to know Russia has established itself as a generational reference thanks to its compositional talent, its melodic sensitivity and its solidity on stage. The project was born with a clear mission: to renew the classic Argentine song, reinterpreting its language and themes from a contemporary perspective.
His latest album, “Jet Love” (24), includes collaborations with artists of the stature of Natalia Lafourcade and Tiago Iorc. With this album, Getting to know Russia got his first Latin Grammyconsolidating his position as one of the most relevant representatives of current Latin pop rock.
During recent years, the project has toured stages in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, the United States and Spain, in addition to collaborating with artists such as Jorge Drexler, Alizzz, Mon Laferte, Nathy Peluso either Miranda!.
