Although it is the second preview of what will be his new album in independence, Modest Mouse have released the new album with the single “Picking Dragons’ Pockets”.
“An Eraser and A Maze” will be the new full-length from the American band Modest Mouse. It will include a total of fifteen songs and will be the group’s first independent album in more than twenty years, after much of their career on Epic Records. In this way, Isaac Brock and his band will release the album on their own label, Glacial Pace Recordings.
To announce this “An Eraser and A Maze”a second preview has been released, “Picking Dragons’ Pockets”, a song that comes after “Look How Far”, which they shared last March. The funny thing is that, initially, it was going to be material destined for Ugly Casanova, Brock’s side project, but it has finally become an album and with Modest Mouse.
The album will contain the songs “Picking Dragons’ Pockets”, “Remember Yourself”, “Life’s A Dream”, “Third Side Of The Moon”, “Dogbed in Heaven/Give It A Skeleton”, “Interlude”, “I Can’t Talk Right Now”, “Speak ‘N Spell (Or Not)”, “Rotten Fruit” – which features Justin Raisen -, “Knocked Down By Waves”, “Absolutely Necessary Never”, “Song About Nothing”, “Stoner Party”, “Look How Far” and “Impossible Somedays”.
The group will currently present it throughout the United States, on a very long tour of almost sixty dates! in which they will be accompanied by artists such as Pinback, Mike Watt & The Missing Men or Caroline Rose. Some of their concerts will be opening for My Chemical Romance.
