Iron Maiden will not attend the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony

Iron Maiden finally they will not attend the induction ceremony of the Rock&Roll Hall Of Fame after classifying it as “absolute nonsense.”

The band, recently announced alongside Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Sade, Luther Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan like the artists who will enter the hall of fame this 2026finally will not attend the induction ceremony of the next November 14.

It was rumored that the decision not to attend was due to the leader’s comments Bruce Dickinson in 2018, when he called the Hall “complete and utter nonsense.” Words he responded when a fan asked him if he thought the band should be included. However, it has been rod smallwoodthe band’s manager, who has issued a statement on Instagram declaring that they will not be attending so as not to interrupt the Australian and New Zealand leg of their tour “Run For Your Lives“. This tour will also pass through Spainwhere the band will perform at the Resurrection Fest (July 2, Nursery) and in the Rock Imperium Festival (July 4, Cartagena).

On the other hand, the British will premiere their new documentary “Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition”, which will reach Spain the next May 15. Directed by Malcolm Venvillethe film includes exclusive interviews with the band members and key figures such as Javier Bardem, Lars Ulrich (Metallica) either Chuck D (Public Enemy)as well as new animated sequences starring Eddie, the band’s eternal icon, created especially for this cinematic experience.
