The Crab Apples advance their next album with “Treinta”

The Crab Apples They release “Treinta”, the single with which they open a new musical stage and the first preview of their next album that will be released sometime in the fall.

The Catalans begin a new stage with “Treinta”, the first preview of what will be their long-term roomwhich will be released in autumn. The single focuses on the contradictions, tensions and learnings that accompany facing a new decade: the thirties, in addition to reflecting on the pressure that comes with having to achieve certain statuses, such as stability or professional success. Produced by the band itself together with Victor Valientehis regular collaborator, the song is driven towards electronic pop, and is accompanied by a video directed by Carla Pérez Vas.

Recently, the band has been selected for the program Spinning Through Roomswhich has led them to begin a tour of some venues in the country. Thus, the Catalans will go through Castelló (April 24, Terra pub) and Ferrol (A Coruña, May 23, La Room room)in addition to performing at various festivals such as Spring Sound Seasons (May 9, Navarra), the Observa Festival (May 29, Sabadell) and the Cruïlla Festival (July 11, Barcelona).

The Crab Apples is a band made up of Carla Gimeno (voice), Laia Alsina (electric guitar) and Laia Marti (low). With three albums and several EPs, his new single comes after the premiere of “a swerve” (24), an EP that maximizes their indie pop-rock sound.
