Caiphanes will return to Spain this week, with three concerts in Barcelona and Madrid to present “Y Caíste”, their latest single.
The band will return Spain after more than three decades without performing, presenting their latest single “Y Caíste”, which was released at the beginning of 2025. Thus, the group will perform on Friday, April 24 at the Luz de Gas room in Barcelonaand the Sunday, April 26 and Monday, April 27 at the But room in Madrid with the sold out tickets for the three dates.
The group returned last year with “Y Caíste”, a dark and timeless song, which narrates the confrontation of a character who lived better days and took on the world with his fists, only to discover that time did not forgive him either. The song comes thirty-two years after their last album, “The Nerve of the Volcano”, released in 1994.
Caiphanes is a Mexican rock band formed by Saúl Hernández, Alfonso André, Sabo Romo, Diego Herrera and Alexander Marcovich. Active since 1987 to 1995the band released four albums. They debuted with their self-titled album in 1988, which was followed by “The little devil” (90), “The Silence” (92) and “The Nerve of the Volcano” (94). In 2011 they resumed their activity, releasing several singles, and touring again. Latin America and USA. Now, almost thirty-five years after their last visit to Spain, they will return next week to present their new stage as a band.
