Lepokathe band from Castellón that combines rock with music of Celtic roots, presents today a new video clip in collaboration with Jesus “Cifu” Cifuentesvocalist of Short Celts.
“Color Café” is the new single by the band Lèpoka and it combines folk, rock and even grunge with a view to denouncing global xenophobia. To accompany them in spreading this message, the group has counted on none other than Jesús Cifuentes, better known as Cifu, vocalist and leader of Celtas Cortos. On the other hand, the theme is produced by Tato Latorre.
The release comes after the successful tour of their latest album, “God is drunk”, with more than sixty dates in countries such as Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Nicaragua and Guatemala, and a grand closing in November with a sold out at the Movistar Arena.
In a “global context marked by the hardening of immigration policies and the rise of intolerant speeches, both in the United States and Europe, this song focuses on the urgent need to demand equality, respect and civil rights,” notes the press release sent to us by the group.
In the words of the group itself: “‘Color Café’ is a song that, through its lyrics, condemns racism and xenophobia, promoting respect and equality between people regardless of their skin color. At the same time it vindicates the pride, dignity and combative spirit of all dark-skinned people who have won their rights in the face of oppression, intolerance and hatred.”
Looking ahead to 2026, Lèpoka has already confirmed its presence at some of the most important festivals on the national scene, such as Viña Rock, Leyendas del Rock or Z! Live, thus consolidating its growth and projection inside and outside our borders.
