The Catalan Hanz Ruiz releases “Cosquilleo”, a new single that serves as an appetizer for what will be their next album.
The artist has been preparing alone for this project since 2023, after having been part of the Mestizo music band Segonama. Currently, with the help of Ignasi Mir on the guitar and Joel Llaurado On drums and production, Ruiz forms a very powerful trio that promises to shake the national rock scene.
In May 2025 he published “Frío”, the first track of the album; Now, with “Cosquillas” we can savor its solid proposal, functioning as a safe bet. At the moment, from what we have been able to hear, the Tarragona artist mixes the guitars of Green Day with the sound design of Barry B.what can go wrong?
With a balance between dirty sound and impeccable billing, Hanz Ruiz uses his lyrics like cannons. From a sentimental vulnerability he asks us: “If you shoot me in the heart/ aim well, AIM WELL/ If you try and fail, please/ try again.”
The narrative of the project is clearly reinforced by the video clip, where the protagonist trio presents visual details, such as Hanz’s red belt—in tribute to Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day vocalist)—, connecting a past that observes the most ambitious present.
