Sara Terraza turns towards danceable pop with “Say what they say”

Sara Terraza presents “Digan lo que dicen”, her new single and a song that moves in the universe of Dua Lipa from a Spanish perspective.

“Say what they say” acts as the first preview of their next EP and marks a new path made of more direct and danceable sounds, with an evidently pop soul. The Barcelona singer and songwriter continues her career as an artist after the release of her first album “I will cry quickly” (23), with which he reached the final of the “Más Músicas” awards for best jazz recording.

With this new release, however, it changes direction and moves into fresher and more carefree sounds. The song, produced by Pedro Campos, combines clear eighties references with a marked rhythmic base and synthesizers that surround the expressiveness of the artist’s voice. The result is an intimate atmosphere that narrates the universal tension of desire, moving between the dance floor and emotional introspection.

In this sense, the single introduces a new phase in the artist’s stylistic evolution, placing her name among contemporary pop proposals without leaving behind her most intimate features. Released through the Music Bus label, “Say what they say” anticipates the sound universe of their next EPscheduled for before summer.
