Social Distortion face their eighth album with “Partners In Crime”

Social Distortion have released “Partners In Crime”, the second preview of their eighth album “Born To Kill“, which will be released on May 8 and will be released with Epitaph.

The Californian band continues to advance its long-awaited eighth full-length, this time with “Partners In Crime”, a direct celebration of the spirit of rock and roll. This song joins “Born To Kill”, the song that gives its name to the album that will be released next May 8 via Epitaph Records. This new album marks a special moment for its leader, Mike Nesswho will return after overcoming his battle against cancer.

The new album, co-produced by Ness with Dave Sardywill feature eleven songs and collaborations with Benmont Tench and Lucinda Williamsin addition to a visual section developed together with the artist Shepard Fairey. Along with this announcement, the band has announced a European tour for this summer in which they will perform at different festivals, one of them being Azkena Rock Festivalthe next June 20 in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Social Distortion is a rock band founded in 1979 in California. Currently formed by Mike Ness, Jonny Wickersham, Brent Harding and David Hidalgo Jrto date they have released seven albums, the last being “Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes”, in 2011. Now, they are preparing for the premiere of “Born To Kill”, their eighth album, after fifteen years of silence.
