Dart to Yatra? Aitana opens up in Rosalía’s confessional

Aitana and Rosalía, the two queens of Spanish pop, have finally decided to make a joint collab, although not musical. Aitana has been the umpteenth guest at Rosalía’s confessional on the Lux Tour, which introduces the performance of ‘La perla’, and more than a confessional it is a kind of gossip room where the invited people air dirty laundry from others with whom they have had some kind of relationship. Among the penitents who have confessed to the “priestess” Rosalía we have Soy una pringada and Metrika, saying that she “fucked” her boyfriend’s secret fiancée.

Also in Madrid, during Rosalía’s concert tonight, Aitana joked about the boyfriends that the media have given her, such as athletes or actors, most of them fake, joking that she must go out with rich guys because she “doesn’t have money.” Later, she proceeded to tell the story of an ex-boyfriend who confessed to her that he could become unfaithful after a year of dating, which is why Aitana decided to leave him. Later they returned, but some statements that person made to the media were the last straw, and he left him permanently.

The complicity with Rosalía is such that Motomami guesses that Aitana is referring to a singer who years ago used Rosalía herself in a “marketing maneuver” to promote herself. Although none of them mention Sebastián Yatra by name, many users seem sure that this is the ex that Aitana talks about in her confession, since Yatra actually stated in an interview a phrase similar to the one that Aitana secretly attributes to him. Rosalía even acknowledges, laughing, that the singer they both allude to apologized for the incident and that she did not accept his apology. “You were smarter than me,” Aitana answers.
