SanSan cancels Thursday’s session for security reasons

SanSan has announced the cancellation of the first day of the festival for security reasons, due to the strong winds that hit the Valencian Community and which has forced the Aemet to activate an alert that extends throughout the day.

Today, Friday, April 2, artists such as Of Monsters and Men, Love of Lesbian and Siloé were scheduled for the first day of SanSan.

In an official statement, the festival organization points out that the decision has been made after an extraordinary meeting with municipal authorities and recommendations from security and fire departments, prioritizing the protection of attendees, artists and festival staff.

The statement explains that the return of Thursday tickets will be made automatically. For those who have season tickets, the organization will inform in the coming days “about the procedures and deadlines for the proportional reimbursement corresponding” to the canceled day.

Despite this measure, the organizers assure that the “conditions for Friday and Saturday are very favorable” and appreciate the public’s understanding.
