Kanye West releases ‘bully’ on Spotify and distributes the vinyl in stores

Kanye West has finally released his new album ‘bully’ through YouTube Live and an event in Los Angeles. The file with this new music (and some old music at the end) was uploaded to its official channel in secret, but then it disappeared. The vinyl was distributed in stores such as Fnac or Marilians this Friday. Finally this Saturday it was uploaded to platforms like Spotify.

The first tracks, at least, point to a continuation of the “Yeezus” sound, started 13 years ago: fragments of soul contrast with feisty beats and nods to the Daft Punk sound. An album of contrasts like all those released since then, with sublime moments. At the moment, we do not know if the album will be uploaded to streaming platforms such as Tidal or Spotify.

‘bully’ has been a heralded record over the last couple of years in different ways. Songs or fragments have been shown at shows and events, although it was not taken seriously until Kanye/ye published an ad in the Wall Street Journal apologizing for his racist statements, which he now associates with his bipolar disorder and brain damage after a car accident suffered in 2022. In recent days, Kanye West has denied that there is AI on the album, something he himself had previously announced.

We remind you that Kanye West will present this album at the Metropolitano in Madrid this summer, specifically on July 30.

This is the tracklist:
01 King
02 This a Must (ft. Nine Vicious)
03 Father (ft. Travis Scott)
04 Mama’s Favorite (ft. Nine Vicious, Ty$)
05 All the Love (ft. André Troutman)
06 Punch Drunk
07 Sisters and Brothers
08 Whatever Works
09 I Can’t Wait
10 Bully (ft. CeeLo Green)
11 Preacher Man
12 Beauty and the Beast
13 White Lines (ft. André Troutman)
