The Bizkaia trio Txopet will publish in the coming weeks his second work, the EP “Ostabe Zuloan”.
“Zure Bile”, preview of the new EP by Txopetis a fast and direct song that combines the energy of garage rock with catchy melodies and a torn voice full of effects. That is, very much in the style of the Bilbao trio. The lyrics explore the need for solitude and the difficulties that come with finding it. An example of the group’s ability to fuse intensity and emotion, as a preview of an album where sincerity and musical strength are intertwined in an authentic and enveloping sound.
The song was recorded at the Casa Talisio studio with Jacob Naya and Urtzi Iza. The mixing was done by the latter at ETEN Espazio Sonoro, and the master was done by the former.
Txopet It is made up of Andoni Barinaga-Rementeriak (drums), Iñigo Guemes Wemesek (bass) and Jon Fernandezek (guitar and vocals). Former ikastola classmates that fate brought together again in an almost unforeseen way. Passionate about organic music, although, like good children of their time, they are not averse to new trends and this is demonstrated in their creations. Melodies as catchy as they are melancholic, with heartbreaking voices that cling to autotune like a burning nail to find an escape from their worries. In 2022 they published the first song with the same name as the band, and in 2023 their first album arrived, “Nahiz eta jausi”. His new EP will be released shortly.
