Zaz has been on Tuesday in Spain to offer a showcase and an provisioning to the press and some fans, in the offices of its Believe distributor. After 5 albums and 5 million albums sold, next Friday will publish his new album, ‘Sains et saufs’.
Accompanied by a guitarist and in fantastic voice form, Zaz performed some songs, also punctured and explained others, in an event very rich in anecdotes and stories, because his new album in fact is. ‘A Enfant Pour Toujours’ speaks, for example, how a deceased son cannot replace another, of the trauma that can lead to the one who remains. A song that he wrote after the death of several relatives.
On the other hand, ‘Mon Cœur tu is Fou’ has been made from a text by the Iranian poet and director Forouch Farrokhzad, who died with 32 years in 1967. Its live end is heartbreaking, shouting what this artist could not scream for herself.
Zaz, who made dance slightly with the jazz point of ‘On Peut Comme ça’, and talked about how he wanted to mix cabarete tradition with a little modernity, has a special light and, on the boards, the smile and the charism of the great stars that particularly enjoy the scenarios. One of the songs that made it shine was ‘Sains et Saufs’, our song of the day today.
The intention of ‘Sains et Saufs’ is to evoke “repair love and self -affirmation against social pressures.” Because we are not made to adapt to “boxes” or to “be locked in cages”, and because love will save us from everything and keep us “healthy and saved”, is that Zaz builds this optimistic melody, which was not in vain was edited in spring. In the video, Zaz opens to the sea and nature, along with characters characterized by diversity.
Zaz acts on November 3 in Barcelona, and on November 5 in Madrid, although tickets for the Riviera are already exhausted.
