Robyn continues adding remixes to her latest album, ‘Sexistial’. This same afternoon he published the new version of one of the project’s undisputed bangers, ‘Talk To Me’. The Swedish artist’s celebrated electropop is now also the second collaboration of her career with Zara Larsson, following their union on ‘Puss Puss’.
Renamed ‘Talk To Me, Zara’, the song joins the list of previously released remixes, including Arca’s ‘Sexistial’, Jamie xx’s ‘Dopamine’ and Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso’s ‘Blow My Mind’. Although the title of the album is no longer mentioned in the lyrics, Zara does the difficult thing: add to a song that already worked perfectly.
Larsson delivers a brand new verse, which also starts the song, until Robyn meets her in the chorus, performed as a duet. “Come finish what you started / Because the more you use your tongue, the more you make my heart race,” Zara sings, not shying away from her well-known vocal flourishes. The pre-chorus is also changed slightly, although it maintains the same meaning: “Be my audience / That’s when I’m in my element / When I hear that you’re loving it.”
