This week he has “released” – as is said in English – the song of ‘Slow tenderness’ that has the collaboration of Ximena Sariñana. Available from the beginning in the CD and LP versions, it finally occupies the corresponding place of the digital version. ‘˂3CDMX’, our song of the day today, is one of the great “Growers” of the album, very catchy in both the mantra that repeats Sariñana, as in the count “One, two, three” or in the trotted percussions that are leading to the chorus of the recording.
In the song, one person dances in the rain while another observes it from inside the house. Zahara explained to us in an interview at the exit of the album how this topic was created:
“I composed it when I was in Mexico, I called Ximena to go home to do something I don’t usually do,” Can we stay, we take something and try to make a song? ” I was very curious with her, I fell very well when we played together in Madrid. He is an incredible person, and has a brutal talent. I told him that he was starting an album trying to talk about beauty, not of obvious beauty, but about the beautiful of the different. And I said: “Well, like Mexico, right?” If you think of beauty, maybe you do not think in Mexico City, because it is chaos and there is a lot of traffic, it is a huge city … however, I see that there are trees everywhere, that things happen, that you turn a corner and it is all full of lamps and there are very very, happy people … and I like that. She took the piano, started to play and then made this phrase “like a face upside down, which only you can see it”, as in “hidden beauty.” And Martí started writing a text, nothing came out. I said the idea, I put them to work and with Martí’s text, which was very cool, I started to give my turns and my turns, and it is a song composed of all three there, on that morning at home. Then I finished producing it in my house ».
On the rarity of the composition, which is not the most commercial “featuring” that can come to mind, he agreed: “It is very rare: it is the zahara businesswoman autoboicote. I could go out with Ximena who is an overwriter in Mexico, “I will try to make a super commercial song, I will get it out of advance.” And no, but I honestly believe that the song inside the alb is very cool because I sing a lot on this album … It is one of the things I have discovered to self -producing. I am almost always singing and I leave very little space for the instrumental. I found it very funny when I finished the album and said: «I don’t shut up, aunt, this lady. No one sends her to shut up, do not shut up … ». And then I find it very kind to hear Ximena’s voice with that piano, that the piano is the one he recorded in his house with a mobile and that he has that truth of that moment. The birds that sneaked through their house are heard. And it seems very cool, but it is clearly so antihit that the hype of the part where I go to sing, goes against. It goes as upside down where you expect, all the time. More than experimental is “the game about the game.” But then I think it works well inside the album ».
