Zach Bryan refuses to appear at the Grammys

The 2025 Grammys will recognize music published between September 16, 2023 and August 30, 2024. These days it is being revealed in some forums which song and in which category each artist has been presented and among them there is an absence that has surprised the industry: Zach Bryan.

The neo-country artist released his latest album ‘The Great American Bar Scene’ this summer, reaching number 2 in the United States and number 1 in Canada. Although he has not repeated the success of ‘I Remember Everything’ with Kacey Musgraves, or that of ‘Something In the Orange’, his songs ’28’ and ‘Pink Skies’ have done very well and his new album continues to hover around the top 10 on the Billboard 200 after 13 weeks.

It seemed normal for Zach Bryan to appear in the country categories, at the very least, to earn a nomination. It hasn’t been like that.

Industry sources assure that Bryan does not understand music as a competition, which is why, like Drake and The Weeknd at another time and for different reasons, he would have given up even performing. The news follows some erratic tweets by Zach, written when he was crazy, about Taylor Swift’s lack of worth.

In fact, Zach Bryan already has a Grammy for ‘I Remember Everything’, specifically the Grammy for best country duo, and has been nominated 4 times. His fans protest that he has not been recognized on more occasions, especially in the Best New Artist category.
