The Donostiarra Group Yonkis horses The second advance of “Overdose”his first album that will see the light September 19 via Subterfuge Records.
Yonkis horses and Cristina Martinez Lana (The murderous swing) join in one voice on this great emotional trip; A spark that becomes a flame, causing a fire that ends in ashes. “Brinks” is born from the desire to explore a sound that combines the emotion contained with electronic intensity. In it, essential influences such as Kraftwerk Ultravox or The Human League are present; Groups that marked an era and redefined the relationship between technology and musical sensitivity.
This new single from Yonkis horsesafter “salvation” (on the concept of the eternal return, the one that tells us that everything that happens will happen again as has happened, therefore, each act of life has an infinite importance), drinks from the synth-pop, post-pink and minimalist electronics, with simple but powerful structures, and atmospheres that seek to cause a constant emotional tension. It is a song that breathes, clicks and burns from within, something like that, as a preterite premonition towards the inevitable.
Yonkis horses It is a new group created in Donosti by the musician, composer and singer Pedro Gracia Pérez de Viñaspre (Havoc, Nacho Vegas) and the producer Iñaki de Lucas (The good life, the murderous swing, Rafael Berrio) with Ander Vildósola and Jaime Nieto (The murderous swing, We are standard). They are electronic pop, soaked with multiple layers and nuances ranging from Brian Eno and artists from the late 70’s and the early 80’s, which were handled between the post punk and electronics (Gary Numan, Ultravox, The Human League). Vocally, we listen to airs by Leonard Cohen, Rem, The Smashing Pumpkins more minimalist and the Norwegian Group morning. On September 19, his first album is published, “Overdose”
