With hammer blows: this is how the date of Drake’s ‘ICEMAN’ has been revealed

Imagine having to forcibly melt an ice structure weighing more than 200 tons to find the release date of your favorite artist’s album. These days, this has been a reality for Drake fans. Now we know that ‘ICEMAN’, in theory, would be available on May 15, but it took pickaxes, hammers and bonfires to find out.

On April 20, Drake placed a huge ice sculpture made up of smaller blocks in a Toronto parking lot. Their plan was for the ice to melt over time, revealing inside the release date of the anticipated ‘ICEMAN’. According to Pitchfork, it would have taken at least two weeks for the structure to completely melt. Drake fans didn’t want to wait that long.

Some of the videos circulating on the Internet are surreal, with people trying to destroy the ice with hammer blows. The idea of making a bonfire at the top of the structure has also seemed good to some. In this way, the police have been forced to place caution signs, warning of the danger that one of these blocks falling unexpectedly may have.

It only took one day for someone to reach center ice. It was the streamer Kishka, who fled the place as soon as he got the bag with the date of the album. In his own stream, he has revealed that the release date of ‘ICEMAN’ will be next May 15.
