Willy Bárcenas regrets having supported Trump

Willy Bárcenas, vocalist of stool and son of Jose Luis Bárcenas, former PP, has given his opinion on the recent policies of Donald Trump. He has declared that although initially “he wanted Trump to win,” the “disappointment has been very large.”

In addition to the “fight against the dictatorship of the Woke”, which seems “good”, Bárcenas cites “its forms” and “attitude” as points that do not convince him of the US president. In particular, he points out “all protectionist policy” and “the issue of tariffs” as main demotivating.

The news comes a day before the new Trump tariff policy enters into force, this Saturday, April 5. This consists of a generalized increase in taxes applied to goods manufactured abroad, with a minimum rate of 10%. The country with the greatest tax is China, with 34%, while for the entire European Union it will be 20%. They are the highest tariffs in more than a century.

“It’s okay to say that I wanted one thing and has disappointed me, because it seems that now you get married, but people change,” concludes Bárcenas. A month ago, stool announced that they were going to “stop giving concerts” after 10 years of experience.
