Will there or will there not be reunion concerts? Oasis in the summer of 2025? Well, it seems that this is going to be the case, although Liam Gallagher It is never a good idea to trust too much. In any case, it seems that news on this matter will be announced tomorrow and Tuesday.
The internet has been very busy this past weekend regarding the near future of Oasis. Rumours of a reunion between Noel and Liam at the head of the group are on everyone’s lips, thanks to some news that have appeared in the British media and the unclear – or very unclear – answers from Liam himself on X.
To this we can add the statements of Noel Gallagher commenting that Oasis’ songs are good when he sings them, but that they are incredible when his brother Liam sings them. This would be the first reunion of the brothers since their last concert at the V Festival in Britain in 2009, making it sixteen since that performance.
Oasis are reportedly set to play both Manchester and London in the summer of 2025, as well as possibly headlining a major festival – Glastonbury to be exact. One report suggests they have booked ten nights at Wembley Stadium, meaning if they sell out all those dates they would surpass Taylor Swift’s eight. And we have no doubt that, should everything go ahead, they could very well do so.
In any case, Liam Gallagher has responded to fans’ questions with somewhat cryptic messages on the X platform, although to one of those questions in particular (“Liam, when are there reunion dates?”) the singer replied “Nxt Friday”. In other responses he has simply replied that he, in reality, has not said anything.
So we’ll have to wait until Friday. So stay tuned for further information.
