It’s been three years since Ariana Grande released ‘positions’, her sixth album. Since then, the artist had not given details about the status of her upcoming album. Until now. Ariana Grande has told a fan that she has not yet made her album, clarifying that her musical comeback is not close to her.
The confession took place last night, when the artist met some of her fans on the street. They asked her about the title of her next album and she was surprised with her resounding response: “Let me do it first.”
With that statement, Ariana Grande makes it clear that her seventh album is not her top priority at the moment, which will considerably extend the wait to hear it. This contrasts with her previous release period, when she released up to three albums in three consecutive years: ‘Sweetener’ (2018), ‘thank u, next’ (2019) and ‘positions’ (2020).
The artist’s last musical movement was on August 25, when she released a new edition of her debut album ‘Yours Truly’ in commemoration of its tenth anniversary.
