'Nanai' is Amaia's most surreal song

When Amaia told Candela Peña that she was “shitting herself”

It has been shown once again that Amaia’s naturalness has no limits. Candela Peña has interrupted her section in La Revuelta to tell about the brief and fun interaction she had with the singer at a fashion awards ceremony.

While Peña and Broncano are talking, the presenter mentions Amaia’s name and the comedian immediately declares that she is “the president of her fan club: “She already was, but the other day I had a beautiful meeting with her at her very model site, because they were giving her an award,” Peña said. The event she is referring to could well be ELLE magazine’s Style Awards, in which Amaia received the Music Talent award, but they do not specify it.

Candela tells how she saw Amaia at the party and declared herself a fan: “Congratulations, I like you a lot,” she told the singer. Then, she seemed surprised while the comedian continued to demonstrate her devotion: “Yes, I love it, I would go behind the truck with your face,” she says. He certainly wasn’t expecting Amaia’s response: “Excuse me… I’m leaving, I’m shitting myself.”

Naturally, the La Revuelta collaborator thought it was a joke, but when asked if she was really “pooping,” Amaia made it clear that it was not a joke: “Yes, yes, I have to go,” says Peña. The comedian dismissed the anecdote as she knows: “I would have gone to shit on her.”

Amaia will headline the Río Babel festival this weekend, where she will perform her only concert in Madrid in 2026. Tickets are still available on the event’s official website.
