Rosalía’s American tour is leaving great guests in the most viral section of her concerts: the confessional. If a week ago he reunited with Karol G, yesterday he invited one of the biggest current pop stars to tell about a brief romance that ended in disappointment and that, furthermore, “became a song.”
Chappell Roan assures at the beginning of his intervention that the story that Lola Young told in her confessional has inspired him to tell his own, as it is also about a disappointing love story: “I was writing songs with someone and we started fooling around.” The artist makes it clear that she liked this person and, in fact, it seemed reciprocal.
«We were talking for three months, all online, because it was during the pandemic. We talked to each other, I used to send photos and so on… And I really liked this person. Afterwards, I traveled alone to go on a date. We kissed and I was floating. I was just thinking, ‘Wow,'” Roan said. All was well, until tragedy struck: “He completely disappeared.”
The artist says that they ghosted her for four days, but Chappell Roan was still in Los Angeles and wrote to this person asking for explanations: “He answered that he had met someone else.” He says that “the craziest thing is that this happened during the four days in which we were not talking. Maybe it’s possible… but then I found out that he was also talking to another artist, which is normal.
It turns out that the artist she’s talking about was also Roan’s friend: “This person told my friend that she knew she should feel sad and care about me… but she just didn’t. “She told me that she didn’t know why she was so angry, because for them it had just been something casual,” she concludes.
