Wet leg return with a manual banger for their second album

Wet leg have returned. The duo formed by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers signed one of the most acclaimed albums of 2022, the homonym ‘Wet leg’, and just announced their return to the ring. ‘Moisturizer’ will be available on July 11. At the moment, you can enjoy the FIRST SINGLE, ‘CatchSe Fists’.

‘Wet leg’ won three Grammys, two British awards, multiple numbers 1 in international lists, more than 500 million streams and even a cover by Harry Styles. Not bad for a debut album. For ‘Moisturizer’, and according to the press release, Teasdale and Chambers have prepared a collection of “Manic love songs and well calculated kisses.”

In ‘Moisturizer’, Wet Leg have returned to work with producer Dan Carey and the press release ensures that they have not chosen “become pop”, but “follow their muse”, promising a “more blunt, most beautiful and more perverted” experience than their predecessor.

‘Catch these fists’, the first single from the album, is an aggressive punk dance cut based on an interaction that the two artists suffered with a “belligerent man,” as it is narrated in the last stanza of the song: “I vomited in my mouth / when he tried to ask me to leave / do not approach me / I just want to dance with my friends.”
