Weezer’s bassist’s wife, author of True Crime, arrested for murder attempt

Jillian Shrner, writer and wife of Weezer’s bassist, Scott Shrner, has been arrested for attempted murder after an altercation with the Los Angeles Police, Variety reports.

The events occurred on Tuesday, April 8 in the Eagle Rock neighborhood in Los Angeles while the police were looking for three suspected people to have fled during an outrage. One of the suspicious people had been sighted by entering his house.

During the investigation, the police found Shrner located in front of the entrance of his house, located next to the investigated residence, grabbing a gun. According to the official story, the agents repeatedly asked Shrner to get rid of the gun and she, instead of following their orders, pointed them out with the gun. Police responded by shooting Shrner on his shoulder. After the shot, Shrner ran home and was accompanied by his nanny. He was then arrested, transferred to the hospital to treat their wounds, which were not serious; and signed for murder attempt. No agent was injured during the altercation.

Police have confirmed that Jillian Shrner is not involved in the case of the three suspicious people of having fled.

Jillian Shrner, in addition to Scott Shrner’s wife, is a writer specialized in True Crime and signs with her birth name, Jillian Lauren. His last book, ‘Behold The Monster’, examines the figure of the murderer Samuel Little.
