Weezer perform surprise performance on a rooftop in Los Angeles

Weezer They offered a surprise concert on a rooftop in Los Angeles as part of the “initiation week” of their upcoming tour.

The band announced earlier last week their new tour, “The Gathering“, which will tour the United States starting in September. And, in addition to sharing the tour dates, they also announced a series of events under the name “initiation week”.

These activities began last March 26, among which was the surprise concert that they offered on the roof of the Hinano Cafein Venice Beach, where they performed some classics such as “Undone–The Sweater Song”, “Buddy Holly”, “Island in the Sun” and “Say It Ain’t So”, as well as “Go Away”, with the special participation of Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast. The celebrations will culminate on March 30 with a pickleball tournament in which the band members will participate.

The tourThe Gathering” will kick off on September 8 in Sacramento and will have 32 concerts that will take place in the United States and Canada, before concluding in Los Angeles on October 24. The band will feature the participation of The Shins and Silversun Pickups as special guests.
