Weezer add Hole's “Celebrity Skin” to their setlist

American alternative rock band Weezer not only adds classics to his repertoire on his current tour celebrating thirty years of “Blue Album” (94), but they even dare to version hole.

The Americans Weezer have surprised their fans during a concert in Santa Ana (California) in which they have added unusual songs for their shows to the setlist. The band, made up of Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell and Scott Shrinerperformed those six songs live for the first time during the tour for the thirtieth anniversary of his album “Blue Album” (94).

Weezer, in addition to performing those songs for the first time, did a cover of “Celebrity Skin” by the American band holethat is, the band of Courtney Love. New to the setlist were “Sheila Can Do It”, “Everything Happens For a Reason”, “Here Comes The Rain”, “Bird With A Broken Wing”, “Mirror Image” and “Amy Friend Of Diane's”. And the Americans affirmed that their shows would have several surprises, also counting on the presence of the bands The Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr. as supporting artists at their concerts.
