The Bizkaitarra musician Hippie Johnny He publishes on September 26 his second album as a soloist, “WHERE IS THE GRAY?”.
We premiered “Where is the Gray?”, The advance of the album of the same title, the second solo of Hippie Johnny, which will go on sale on September 26. It will be the second solo album by Jon Bilbao Martínez Aka Hippie Johnny, eleven years after his debut.
Their participation in different bands over the years (from garage, punk, stoner or rock n roll) led the musician to edit their record debut, “Say it from the roof”in 2014, also recognizing its passion for more folk and acoustic sounds. This second album has, to begin with, more than double duration than the previous one, a full -fledged album. For its preparation it has had the help of Iñigo Bregel (The ponds), which has produced and touched instruments, creating songs based on songs that connect past and present.
Recorded over two days at Bregel de Meruelo studies, the fourteen themes have the acoustic guitar as a base, carrying enough band sound, with folk and rock as a flag. Jon Bilbao has recorded the acoustic guitar, voice, choirs and electric guitar in “Animals”, and Iñigo Bregel the drums, low, keyboard, electric guitar, choirs and synthesizer.
