Cora Yako They return with “Pesadillas”, a song that captures their most emotional essence. Produced by the members of the group Carlos Sennacheribbo and Luis de Olezathe song displays that balance between melancholy and guitar energy that has characterized them for some time. A sound that has become the band’s hallmark. Between indie rock, pop and alternative rock, “Pesadillas” is, as they themselves define, “a breath of fresh air despite the sadness.” He talks about living a story with the certainty that it will have a sad ending, and he does so with the calm of someone who accepts loss and continues moving forward. This is the first preview of their next album, which will be released in early 2026.
The release of the single comes accompanied by a video clip directed by Alberto De Santos (in charge of videos for bands like Carolina Durante either Gins). The band built a pink wooden hook machine with their name engraved on it, got inside and toured different parts of Madrid inviting strangers to “play with them.” The result is a visual piece that plays with vulnerability, exposure and irony, concepts that also run through his music.
Cora Yako will touch the December 12 in Els Concerts de la Pèrgola (Valencia)the tickets they are already available on the website of Bandsintown.
