The Gasteiztarran band The Dealers releases his new album on November 15 “Tabula Rasa” with the new seal Records Ankle BootsH-Records sublabel.
The Garage Beat and R&B quartet The Dealers is back with a new album. Today we present you the preview single, “Last Night”, which will be included on the LP “Tabula Rasa”produced by the band itself and Javi Vicente aka Carasueño. It will be officially released on November 15 with the new label Records Ankle BootsH-Records sublabel.
In “Last Night” the protagonist seems to be dealing with his own internal struggles and search for identity. The lyrics address themes such as escape, the struggle with expectations, and the longing for authenticity in the face of social pressures. The mention of “combing one’s hair the other way” and “taking off masks” suggests a desire to show one’s true self, while references to drowning and falling under a bridge evoke a sense of desperation and struggle.
The Dealers It is currently made up of Al Sampedro (vocals, harmonica, percussion), Mikel de Quintana (vocals, guitars), Oscar Arribas (drums) and David Ghirken (bass). In their more than 15 years of experience they have signed various 7″, in addition to the LP “Serendipic Breakfast” in 2015 and the EP “Turning Upside Down” in 2017.
The video, which combines stop motion, analog intervention and artificial intelligence, has been made by Itziar Garalucevideo artist from Vitoria responsible for the Blitz festival, which held its first edition at the Gasteiz Antzokia last September.
