We premiere “Hermoses”, the new video clip by Ferran Orriols

The Catalan singer-songwriter Ferran Orriols returns with a new single and video clip, “Hermoses”, which we premiere today on our website. This is the first preview of his second full-length album to be published in 2025.

“Hermoses” has been recorded and produced by himself Ferran Orriolsmixed by the North American Alex Bush (Damien Jurado) and mastered by the legendary British engineer Simon Heyworth (Nick Drake, George Harrison). It is the first preview piece of what will be Orriols’ new work, the second after the applauded “SILVER” (Grand Canyon Records, 23).

“Hermoses” is a song that is inspired by the Anglo-Saxon productions of the seventies that have influenced Orriols so much. The mastering was carried out by the legendary British engineer Simon Heyworth (Nick Drake, George Harrison, Gene Clark). “To think that the song was born in La Torre d’Oristà, has traveled to California, then to England and has returned here, having passed through the same hands through which some of my favorite records, which I have at home, have passed, makes me It’s very emotional. Now I look at those albums and I feel like I’ve come full circle, it’s something very romantic,” Ferran confesses.

In “Hermoses” he collaborates Xumari Roca to the sax and congas, while Alex Bush added a tambourine. The rest of the instruments have been played by Orriols himself, who was the band’s singer. Nyandu for a decade.
