The band from Bilbao I don’t want towhich will premiere on stage next September 27th at Bilborockpublishes the second preview of his second album.
I DON’T WANT TO is back with a new single and video titled “Amarillo”, directed again by Anton Uribeand which has had the collaboration of the directors Samuel Ramiro and Gabriel Quiñones.
“Amarillo”, the second single from their new album (after “Toma de control”), is a song with punk rock overtones from the 70s and 80s that invites us to reflect on the dangerous sensationalism that spreads among the media and content generators on social networks. In the words of the musicians, this song speaks of “the unfair competition to capture the audience’s attention at all costs, the publication of scandalous headlines and the artificial generation of controversies. All this is leading us to a distortion of reality and the really serious thing is that sensationalism is free for them because, even when the real “truth” ends up prevailing, the media and content generators are generally incapable of publicly retracting and acknowledging the damage caused.”
The Bilbao band will finally take to the stage on Friday, September 27th at the Bilborock Hall in Bilbao and the last tickets are still on sale. The band is made up of Alberto Macías (Guitar), Gaby Salaverry (lead vocals), Antón Uribe (vocals and keyboards), Blas Fernández (Drums), Javi Quintana (Guitar) and Mario Gutiérrez (Bass). Their debut album, “Monterey”was released in December 2021, and featured 8 singles, each with a corresponding short-film video. In their new album, which will be released early next year, the Bilbao-based band will present us with 9 songs that will follow an accessible rock scheme with guitars in the foreground and powerful choruses, but with a rawer and more direct sound.
This new single from their second album, which was recorded and mixed by Alberto Macías at PanPot Studios and mastered at Sterling Sound, is now available on digital platforms.
