The Argentine indie-rock and dream-pop band End of the world This weekend she released her new song “Vivimos lejos”, the first preview of her long-awaited new studio album, “We made a forest grow”.
The song has been produced by the band itself, “Vivimos lejos” is a composition of just over four minutes in length in which Fin del Mundo show a much more energetic and direct side. Recorded in Unisono Cerati by Stanislaus Lopez and Albatros Studio by Nicolas Aimo (who was also in charge of the mix) and mastered at Estudio Metamorfosis by Mr. Warrior.
“We live far away” works perfectly as a cover letter for what will be the new work of the Argentines, “We made a forest grow”which will be released by Spinda Records and will once again combine dream-pop, indie-rock, shoegaze and even some emo.
But let them comment on the song themselves. (Lucía Masnatta) “It’s a song where we resort to the elements we like the most: a powerful rhythmic base of drums and bass on which we build layers of guitars that intertwine, evoking different styles and influences. On this occasion we decided to sing all four in unison with gang vocals typical of midwest-emo to express that desire to be close to your loved ones in a stormy context in which you seek refuge.”
This summer they will be performing in our country with concerts in Donosti (17 August, Dabadaba), Cambados (18 August, Krazzy Kray), Torremolinos (22 August, Canela Party), Córdoba (23 August, Ambigú Axerquía), Madrid (24 August, Mad Psych Sessions), Oviedo (25 August, La Salvaje) and Barcelona (31 August, Sala Upload).
