American rapper and actor Vince Staples has announced his new album, “Cry Baby”which will be released on June 5, with the release of the single “Blackberry Marmalade”, now available on platforms.
The artist has announced “Cry Baby”, his next album, which will be released on June 5 via Loma Vista Recordings. Following his previous albums, filled with introspection and tributes to his homeland, the musician returns abroad with this album, processing the endlessly repeating cycles of American turmoil through musical and sonic change.
Along with this announcement, the American released “Blackberry Marmalade” last Saturday, becoming the first single that advances the work. The song is accompanied by a video clip directed by Bradley J. Calder next to the own artistwhich perfectly reflects the meaning of the song and the album.
Vince Staples is an American rapper, who rose to fame in 2015 with his debut album “Summertime 06‘”. After him, he has published five more albums, the last being “Dark Times”, in 2024. He has collaborated with artists and bands such as Mac Milleron the collaborative mixtape “Stolen Youth“, either Gorillaz.
