The registration phase of the new edition of the musical program begins VillaSoundBilbaopromoted by the Bilbao City Council, to promote young soloists and groups (between 16 and 35 years old) from the Basque Country and Navarra.
From today, January 13 to February 13, the registration period for the fifth edition of VillaSoundBilbaothe musical program, promoted by the Bilbao City Council, so that young soloists and groups (between 16 and 35 years old) from the Basque Country and Navarra receive a boost in their professional career and bring the current musical panorama to the public.
The 12 projects selected by the professional jury will be able to perform live in one of the 4 concerts to be held in Bilborock on March 21 and 28, and April 4 and 11. Subsequently, the 12 soloists/groups will move on to the training phase (MENTORING), in which they will receive training given by professionals in the music industry. Six of those bands will move on to the next phase with personalized mentoring, with an A&R and/or managers, and a studio session.
Finally, one of these groups/soloists will perform a TOUR through various cities within the cycle and rooms They are Estrella Galicia. The Tour will consist of a minimum of 4 performances in different venues in the State, where he will perform accompanied by one or several groups. Each of these actions will be remunerated with €750. Groups or soloists may also be selected to perform in other concerts throughout the year with various promotional entities in the musical field (Musika Bulegoa, Aste Nagusia, BIME Live, Bilbao Basket…).
What bands can achieve:
– A performance in Bilborock within VSB Fest for 12 groups or soloists selected by the Jury. Each of them will subsequently receive the video recording of the concert, made with 2 cameras, as well as the audio track recording of their live performance, for editing and remastering.
– A personalized mentoring for 6 groups or soloists selected by the Jury with an A&R and/or managers, and a study session.
– A tour of 4 concerts in different cities of the State, within the Son Estrella Galicia cycle and venues, for one of the groups or soloists, as opening act for a recognized band. The 4 performances will be paid.
– A performance in Aste Nagusia, at the local Pop-Rock Show, for a group/soloist from Bizkaia selected by the Jury
– A performance in a Musika Bulegoa partner venue and €1,000 + VAT for per diems for a group/soloist. Selection made by Musika Bulegoa.
– A performance at BIME Live for a group/soloist
– A performance at an urban music event in 2025, organized by Fundación SGAE
– BIME Pro passes for the 6 groups/soloists selected for mentoring
– Recording of a video clip “Lokal Session” at the Bilborock venues for a group/soloist.
The bands and solos that can participate:
– Groups or soloists whose proposals are framed in current music
(rock, pop, metal, rap, trap, electronic, folk, author…) or fusions between these.
– Said groups or soloists must be from the Basque Autonomous Community or from
Navarra, and meet the following requirements:
– Origin: at least half of the group members must be
residents in any town in the Basque Autonomous Community and/or Navarra.
– Age: the date of birth of each component must be included
between January 1, 1990 and December 31, 2009.
– Repertoire: the songs submitted to the Contest must be original. in case
If the organization requires it, its authorship must be demonstrated.
– They may not have a record contract in force, although this is not a reason for
exclusion of any collaboration, self-production or licensing contract in force.

Registrations
Registrations will be made through the VillaSoundBilbao website, for which you must complete the Form and attach:
• 3 songs in mp3, ogg or wma format.
• A photograph in jpg, bmp or png format.
• The group’s history in doc, docx, odt or pdf format.
• Social media profiles of the group or soloist (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• A link to an unedited video, whether from a live performance or a rehearsal (by tapping
live, not a video clip)
The person who appears in the registration as “representative” must be a member of the group and will have the obligation to attend the Bilborock concert.
Selection of concerts in Bilborock
A jury made up of professionals linked to the field of music will select a maximum of 12 groups or soloists from among the proposals presented. These will perform live at Bilborock within the VSB Fest on one of these 4 days: March 21 and 28 and April 4 and 11, 2025. The specific dates and times will be established by
the organization. The entire repertoire to be performed in the performance (30′) must be composed of original songs by the group or soloist. .
