The underground supergroup Satanic Planet They sign with the reference label Relapse Records, in collaboration with Three One G Records, and announce that they are working on their second album, which will be released sometime next fall.
Satanic Planet is a group made up of Lucien Greaves (co-founder and spokesperson of The Satanic Temple), Luke Henshaw (Planet B, Sound of the Border), Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Misfits, Mr. Bungle, Dead Cross) and Justin Pearson (The Locust, Dead Cross, Swing Kids, Deaf Club). Their self-titled debut album in 2021 featured guests from bands or artistic projects such as Cattle Decapitation, Silent, Hexa either First Church Of The Void.
The band announced their arrival to Relapse Recordsrecord label with which they will prepare their second full lengthfor which there is still no known title or release date. In the words of Lucien Greaves: “I am delighted to collaborate with Relapse to bring to the world the most Satanic music ever recorded for Satanists, sonically infused with the high ethics and activist tenacity of the Satanic Temple. Religious music has become much more interesting. Let this serve as the soundtrack for a Satanic Awakening“
After arriving at Relapse Recordsthe band is preparing to begin a new musical stage in which they will present their second full-length.
