Tyler, the Creator releases his album ‘CHROMOKOPIA’ this month

Tyler, the Creator has shown a new musical trailer for his next project, along with a short film titled ‘ST. CHROMA’. He then confirmed that ‘CHROMAKOPIA’, his new album, will be released on October 28. A Monday.

We had not heard anything new from the Californian artist since the release of ‘Call Me If You Get Lost’ in 2021 and its deluxe edition, in March of last year. What we can take away from the new trailer is that Tyler is going into another experimental stage.

We can hear him rap in whispers in a beat composed mainly of a military march, which in turn connects directly with the visual part. In it, he directs a group of people in suits towards a container on which the word ‘CHROMAKOPIA’ can be read painted. Little by little, the music turns towards a lighter soul or R&B register in which different voices appear. Without a doubt, leaving us wanting more.

One of these voices would be that of Daniel Caesar, who revealed his appearance on Instagram Stories: «I made some voices for this, I am very proud. “I can’t wait for you to hear the full album,” he published. In the final stretch of the video, and with all the people inside, someone presses a detonator and blows the container into the air. Thus, the video goes from black and white to color.
